Within a week, Arishita was able to collect more than 100 books from community partners at the New Brunswick Public Library, Piscataway Free Public Library, and Mabel Smith Douglass Library to create the Jameson Little Free Library. She also hosted a book bar, drawing attention to the library on opening day. The books in the library feature critical topics from gender and sexuality studies, to arts, history and humanities, to fictional books with main characters from diverse backgrounds.

In the span of three days, Arishita painted a community mural she designed and conceptualized named "The Heart of DRC." The mural features images from the three Douglass Residential Halls and Douglass traditions to brighten up a historical study space, and was supported by the Rutgers Office of Residence Life, the Honors Program, and Douglass Residential College. Arishita also facilitated a community art show with works from local artists and a reception with charceuterie boards she hand-made for the event.

Supported by the Justice+Joy fund, Arishita hosted a non-partisan zine-making night with the City of New Brunswick's local drag community, La Gatita to support and mobilize LGBTQ+ and other minority youth vote by asking them why they were excited to vote & reframing the narrative of "having to vote." To represent four unique cultural living learning communities housed at Rutgers University, Arishita is designing and painting a community garden with plants from each region represented by the LLCs to brighten the space and reflect the diverse identities that call those LLCs home without creating any monoliths of them
