Jameson Little Free Library

Within a week, Arishita was able to collect more than 100 books from community partners at the New Brunswick Public Library, Piscataway Free Public Library, and Mabel Smith Douglass Library to create the Jameson Little Free Library. She also hosted a book bar, drawing attention to the library on opening day

Jameson Community Closet

The Jameson Community Closet provides residents of Jameson Residence Hall with canned foods and quick meals. this initiative is fully supported by community donations of food!

Heart of DRC Mural & Art Show

In the span of three days, Arishita painted a community mural she designed and conceptualized named "The Heart of DRC." The mural features images from the three Douglass Residential Halls and Douglass traditions, and was supported by the Rutgers Office of Residence Life, the Honors Program, and Douglass Residential College. Arishita also facilitated a community art show with works from local artists and a reception with charceuterie boards she hand-made for the event.
